The vision

We want to create resource-saving and sustainable solutions in wastewater treatment worldwide. We have thus developed a system for the sustainable use of water, one of the most valuable resources on our planet. Côte d’Ivoire produces considerable quantities of wastewater, most of which is discharged untreated into the natural environment. Until now, wastewater has been regarded as a waste product in the target country. Due to the lack of local solutions and systems that enable sustainable wastewater treatment, little attention has been paid to the ecological consequences of poor wastewater disposal in the country for decades. This type of wastewater disposal poses a threat to the environment and has a negative impact on water quality. Wastewater, especially from industry, must be treated to prevent contamination of water sources. In addition, wastewater can cause diseases. The issue of water security is a problem that requires global solutions. Like most African countries, Côte d’Ivoire has a rapidly growing population. In addition, the demand for water in the country is increasing. Against this backdrop, the sustainable use of water resources is essential for the country.

With our innovative process, we are committed to exploiting potential. These include, in particular, efficient water use and energy from wastewater. This is because our wastewater treatment plants make it possible to reuse the treated wastewater, recover energy from wastewater and also reduce the cost of wastewater disposal and water consumption. Both pre-treatment to avoid heavy pollution charges and full treatment for direct discharge or reuse, for example in the production process or in agriculture, can be realized with the standardized process. Our plants for cleaning wastewater and generating energy from wastewater are offered in compact and modular container solutions. With these anaerobic wastewater treatment plants, we are already a small step closer to our vision of a sustainable future.
